  • Mitchell Christmas Trees has a Farm Fresh Guarantee - if you properly care for your tree and it dies before Christmas, we will replace it or credit you for a tree the following year.

    To properly care for your tree, you must have a fresh cut on the trunk and immediately place it in water.

    The tree will be very thirsty and will drink a lot of water - multiple gallons in the first few days.

    You must check the water daily because the tree will stop drinking and dry up if it is runs out of water for more than a few hours.

    Krinner stands are essential to a great Christmas Tree experience. Krinner stands have a foot pedal and cable claw system that makes it very easy to setup and remove the Christmas Tree. There are no screws or spikes and the tree stands up straight.

    Krinner stands also hold 4.5 liters of water and have a water level indicator. This helps ensure your Tree has water, and makes it easy to check the water level - which is about twice per week after the first week in the stand.

  • Thank you for Reserving Your Tree Early! You can absolutely choose a different tree at pickup.

    1. Fresh Cut on Trunk: Make a fresh cut on the trunk before you place it in the stand.

    2. Immediately Place It in the Stand: We recommend a Krinner Christmas Tree stand to keep your Mitchell Christmas Tree Farm Fresh.

    3. Water, Water, Water: Water gives life to your Mitchell Christmas Tree. If it is runs out of water, it will dry up. A Christmas Tree will drink a lot of water during the first few days in the stand and drink less once it is hydrated - but it can never run out of water. A premium stand that holds a lot of water and has a water level indicator helps keep your Mitchell Christmas Tree Farm Fresh.

    4. Use LED Lights: LED lights are more expensive but much cooler than incandescent lights. We believe using LED lights prolongs the life of your Mitchell Christmas Tree.

  • In the beautiful Valley of the Sun, most cities (Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa) have Christmas Tree recycling locations - often at your local park- immediately following Christmas.

    It is very important to remove your Tree after Christmas because a dry Christmas Tree is highly flammable and a fire hazard.

  • Yes, we can deliver a tree to your home and set it up for an additional fee.

    The delivery and setup fee depends primarily on the distance we have to travel to your home.

    Delivery fees range between $30 and $100.

    -North Scottsdale, North Phoenix, Carefree, Cave Creek, Rio Verde Foothills, Rio Verde, Tonto Verde = $30

    -Central and South Scottsdale, Desert Ridge = $50

    -Paradise Valley, Arcadia, East Mesa, Tempe = $75

    -All other areas = $100
